Recently we created a new home improvement blog site called Enhanced Home. This is a side project for the Enhance team that aims to create a place for people who are into renovation to get inspiration for their own projects.
FLOATING ELEMENTS & NEGATIVE SPACE
We wanted this design to look different to your typical blog so we’ve gone with what I would describe as a floating layout that uses negative space to create containers and texture elements.
SIMPLE COLOUR PALETTE
We wanted to let the imagery bring the colour to the design, so we chose a simple sea green colour for the brand which has been used sparingly throughout the design.
USE OF WHITESPACE
This design puts a big focus on the use of whitespace to ensure legibility and to create a sense of calm for the reader.
