A Shopify development agency on the Gold Coast, building stores that sell

A product grid is not a shop. The difference between a store that converts and one that does not is almost never the platform – it is the hundred small decisions between landing and checkout, and that is the part a Shopify development agency should be earning its fee on.

Shopify development

Shopify Development Gold Coast Ecommerce website design that earns its keep

Everything between the ad click and the confirmation email.

A custom Shopify theme, not a demo store

Ecommerce website design shaped around your products and your customers rather than a theme built to sell sunglasses. Fast, on brand, and built on Shopify 2.0 sections so you can rearrange pages yourself.

A checkout that gets out of the way

Every extra field and unexplained charge is a reason to leave. We strip the path to payment back to what is genuinely needed and make the cost clear early.

Product pages that answer objections

Sizing, shipping, returns and stock answered where the doubt actually occurs, instead of buried in a policy page nobody opens.

Merchandising you control

Collections, filters, upsells and bundles set up so you can run a promotion without booking a developer.

Apps kept to a minimum

Every app is a monthly fee and a performance cost. We build natively where it is sensible and only add an app when it genuinely pays for itself.

Tracking that reports the truth

GA4, conversion tracking and server-side events configured properly, so you can see which channel actually paid for itself.

How we work

How our Gold Coast Shopify developers work

Four stages, each with something you can see at the end of it.

01

Understand the catalogue

How people choose between your products decides the navigation, the filters and the page layout. We start there.

02

Design the path to purchase

Home, collection, product, cart, checkout – designed as one sequence, because that is how it is experienced.

03

Build and connect

Custom theme, inventory, shipping rules, payment methods, email flows. Tested with real orders before anyone else sees it.

04

Launch and improve

Go live, watch what real customers do, and fix the friction that only shows up under real traffic.

Questions

Shopify development questions, answered

Including the ones where the honest answer is “it depends”.

Shopify or WooCommerce?

For most businesses selling products, Shopify. Hosting, security, PCI compliance and checkout are handled, which is a lot of risk you no longer own. WooCommerce makes sense when the store is deeply tied to content or to systems Shopify cannot reach. We do build with both, so if WooCommerce is your preference, then we can certainly help.

Can you migrate our existing store?

Yes – products, customers, orders and URLs. Redirects matter more than anything else in a migration, because that is where stores lose rankings they spent years earning.

Do you write the product descriptions?

We can, and we will tell you honestly when your own knowledge of the product will beat anything we could write. Usually the best result is you talking and us shaping it.

What about ongoing changes?

Adding and editing products is relatively straightforward and something most clients are able to manage themselves. The theme is built in sections so most changes are yours to make. For the bigger ones we are here to help.
